Abstract
This study was conducted to investigate the influence of role of parents,
another family member, and non family member on family business success
with family harmony as a mediating variable. The population of this
research were family business. The sampling frame was limited which
family business which are in West Jakarta. The non probabilistic
judgemental sampling method was used in this research. There are 50
respondents. The technique of data analysis used single regression analysis,
multiple regression analysis and path analysis. The findings of this research
showed that 1) Role of parents, another family member, and non family
member influence the family harmony. 2) Role of parents, another family
member, and non family member influence the family business success. 3)
Family harmony influence the family business success. 4) Family harmony
mediate the influence of role of parents, another family member, and non
family member.
